Grow Hope Foundation
The Grow Hope Foundation provides educational programs and learning experiences designed to create opportunities for Indigenous young people to find their place in a future where all Australians walk and grow together.
Grow Hope endeavours to advance and strengthen reconciliation by fostering interconnectedness, respect and understanding between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the wider Australian community. Reconciliation must live in the hearts and minds of all Australians as we undertake to close the gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians on educational achievement and employment opportunities.
Wanyara works in collaboration with the team at Grow Hope to assist low socio-economic schools with funding for incursions as well as supporting Indigenous community initiatives.
HOW THE CLASSROOMS OF CULTURE FUND WORKS
If you are a school or youth centre interested in hosting a Wanyara incursion, submit to us using our booking form.
Wanyara will provide a quote for the requested incursion to you.
If you don’t have budget to cover the entire cost of the incursion, apply for funding from Grow Hope’s Classrooms of Culture Fund (see button below).
The application will be reviewed by the Grow Hope team and assessed according to the need and funding requirements (read more about how we assess applications here). Please allow up to three weeks for this to occur.
Grow Hope will inform you of the outcome of your application as soon as possible.
IF THE APPLICATION IS SUCCESSFUL…
Grow Hope will contact Wanyara and then we will contact you to finalise the incursion booking and set a date. The incursion will be delivered as planned and we will invoice you for any outstanding portion of the costs.
